The cubic law is the basic law to describe the seepage in the cracks of parallel plates. However it can not be directly used to describe rough undulating fracture. By using the method of computational fluid dynamics, the law of water flow in rough undulating fractures with different roughness, fracture width, hydraulic gradient and fracture length is studied. The cubic law is modified and the mathematical formula of equivalent fracture width is established.
