This work represents a green and facile approach for the polystyrene supported nickel catalysed deprotection of allylic tertiary amine. The careful instrumental investigations with XPS, TEM, TGA, XRD and ICP-AES precisely characterized the developed heterogeneous catalyst. Cheap metal, mild reaction conditions, good yields as well as the reusability of the catalyst made this method more environmentally friendly.
