Some plant extracts with specific functions have been used to integrate with textiles, which can not only endowing the fabric with certain functions, but also accord with the concept of environmental protection and sustainable development. In this paper, codonopsis powder and thyme essential oils microcapsule were added to viscose spinning fluid. The obtained viscose fiber with various functions, such as antibacterial activity, anti-mould activity and anti-mites activity. In addition, the durability are also more than 20 washes. The multifunctional viscose fiber has a more extensive application prospect.
