We are presenting in this work, the effect of Zr/Ti ratios on PZT ceramics modified by manganese. The studies include structural, microstructural, and dielectric properties of the samples. A solid state reaction method was used to prepare samples of PZT in different ratios of 65/35, 52/48, 35/65 modified with 0%, 2%, 6%, and 10% of manganese. Phase formation of compounds was checked by X-ray diffraction (XRD) technique. The surface morphology of the compounds was studied using scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Dielectric and electric characteristics show that Mn modification has increased the T c and also, the values of ε r whereas tangent loss is decreased.
