The paper presents the main directions of the technological process of high-frequency processing of polymeric materials used in rolling stock products. The necessity of developing a mathematical model of the critical process of exposure to high-frequency energy is substantiated. As a model, an imitational mathematical model of the process of high-frequency processing of polymeric materials that takes into account breakdown phenomena is proposed (based on experimental studies of a large number of the most used polymer materials).
