The article considers the analytical and finite element method for calculating the stress-strain state of a multi-shell gas tank. The calculated dependences connecting the gas pressure inside the gas tank and strength are presented. The analytical calculation of a multi-shell container was verified using the finite element method in the ANSYS APDL software package.
