The method for optimal geometric synthesis of gearing of cylindrical involute gears is proposed in this paper. A new geometry settlements system has been proposed. The technique developed on the basis of this settlements system can significantly expand the domain of existence of the solution to the synthesis problem, as well as the domain of existence of gear.
