The methods of moving robotic platforms having in their arsenal either an anchor-rope or an anchor-rope-tracked mover are analyzed. The algorithms of operation of caterpillar-anchor-cable movers of various designs and gait algorithms for a platform with an anchor-cable mover are determined.
