With the development of UHV power transmission and transformation projects in China, as a key technology to prevent power grid accidents caused by faults of power transmission and transformation equipment, the state early warning technology of UHV AC power transformation equipment urgently needs to carry out and perfect corresponding research. This paper introduces the key technology of state warning for UHV AC substation equipment, and analyzes the principle and method of state alarm technology. And put forward the views on the current problems and future development of UHV AC equipment status warning technology.
