We have designed and synthesized an aromatic podand containing two dipyridyl plantinum complexes in both ends of the podand, of which the luminescence in solution is reversibly fabricated by adding equal equivalent of dibenzylammonium hexafluorophosphate and base. The results are obtained by absorption and emission spectroscopy and 1H NMR spectroscopy.
