Nowadays, China’s urbanization process is rapid, and the rail transit system has become a good solution for the traffic congestion problem. The electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of rail transit system is an important guarantee for the safe and reliable operation of rail trains. To this end, this paper proposes an EMC layout scheme for rail trains, and designs their electrical equipment layout and electrical wiring layout. In addition, according to the distribution of the train body equipment, the rail trains are divided into three parts, i.e. the roof, the interior and the bottom, and their associated EMC partition layouts are given. Finally, the layout scheme is tested by taking the Shanghai Metro Line 6 as a test rail train. The test results show that the proposed scheme can greatly improve the EMC performance of the rail trains and achieve the expected design goals.
