When producing of the abrasive tool using one of the most reliable operations is the thermal processing operation. Heating nonuniformity during the thermal processing adversely affects the quality of the abrasive tool and can lead to it being rejected. In this paper there are computational simulation results of the heating process of semi-finished products of combined abrasive tools in the microwave field presented and recommendations on the uniformity improvement of the temperature distribution along the whole volume of the heating object are provided.
