Methods for assessing the quality of the design processes of complex technical products are considered, taking into account the main quality indicators for a reasonable choice of the most acceptable option from among competing ones. Methods for assessing the impact of individual stages of product design are described, and methods are proposed for determining the accuracy included in the selected indicator.
