The dynamic variability in the amount of contaminants in urban atmosphere and the mathematical models which allow describing the given variability have been analyzed. The models of the seasonal variation in the amount of solid particles in the atmosphere of Volgograd were developed based on Fourier series. The seasonal index was determined. A dynamic equation characterizing the seasonal variability in the amount of solid particles in the atmosphere of Volgograd was obtained applying the method of analytical seasonal adjustment.
