Within the framework of the conducted comparative analysis, the features of the organization of the regional investment and construction complex were revealed; the dynamics of the construction industry was shown. Based on the in-depth analysis of the factors of formation and functioning of the investment and construction complex of the region, the question about identifying determinants of negative character was raised, the ways of improvement were offered.
