The mathematical model of the light regime in the considered constructional area has been developed. The amount of horizontal outdoor natural illumination from the sky with a standard brightness distribution established by the International Commission on Illumination (ICI) was determined in the annual cycle for the cities of Nalchik and Moscow. As a result of comparing the values of the amount of illumination for the cities of Nalchik and Moscow was determined, a correction coefficient for the light climate, the use of which will improve the technical and economic efficiency of the lighting devices when calculating with natural lighting, was found.
