The position taken by the author of a representative approach to the analysis of the architectural space is based on the selection, on the one hand, of the sensually perceived, “experienced” human properties of this space, on the other hand - the conceptual, abstract, mental constructions of his spatial world view. The paper attempts to substantiate the fundamental nature of the question of representativeness, as one of the approaches to the analysis of the architectural space within the framework of the phenomenological method.
