With the progress of science and technology and the improvement of economic level, people have a higher pursuit of the quality of life at home, thus promoting the rapid development of smart home industry. This paper mainly focuses on the research of smart home system. A smart home system which can provide people with comfortable, safe and convenient home environment is simulated and designed with STC89C52 MCU as the main control chip. The design and operation of the system are simple, convenient, low power consumption, stable performance and low cost, which has certain practical application value.
