The filter cake in polycrystalline enterprise has high water content and therefore a large volume, which is difficult to regenerate, the common treatment method is to stack and landfill in the waste dumps. With the environmental pressure has became serious these years, it has a great significance to reduce the volume of filter cake. This research studied the filtration performance of different filtration methods for the polycrystalline enterprise waste water, namely traditional Chamber Filter Press, Chamber Filter Press & passing compressed air, Diaphragm Filter Press. The results showed that the water content of filter cake pressed by traditional Chamber Filter Press is 80.6%, the passing compressed air method decreases the water content slightly. However, the water filter pressed method reduced the water content and the volume of the filter cake remarkably. It is more in accord with the national development production strategy of environmentally friendly, safety and efficiently.
