In the article the main problems of informatization of enterprises operating urban pipeline networks that impede the transition to modern concepts of intelligent management is analyzed. It is shown that these problems can be solved by creating a common digital enterprise space. A review of existing approaches to creating a common digital space at various levels of management has shown that in practice a typical approach is applied to top-down automation, in which automation is mainly subject to the workflow and financial activities of companies. An approach to the formation of a common digital space of the enterprise is proposed and the new opportunities that the application of this approach opens up are listed. An example of practical approval of the proposed concept of the common digital space at a real operational enterprise of urban pipeline systems is given.
