Planning the activities of a structural unit is one of the sources for finding reserves to improve the efficiency of the company as a whole. The correctness of the methods used, the completeness of the source data, the software used is an incomplete list of factors affecting the reliability of the plans of the company’s departments, which in turn make up a plan of the organization’s activity as a whole. The article provides an overview of the planning process for the Utility Vehicles Department, considers planning tools, the possibility of increasing the efficiency of the process and achieving planned indicators.
