Corrosion damage of structural materials caused by their interaction with the environment is one of the significant factors of degradation of the strength characteristics of these materials. Since this brings a significant reduction in the bearing capacity of structures, when calculating their long-term operation, it is certainly necessary to take into account corrosion damage. Among the effects of the environment on the concrete, a significant place belongs to chemical corrosion, determined by the dynamics of the corrosion front moving deep into the concrete. In this paper, according to some models, the depth of chemical corrosion damage of concrete structural elements (beam, column) is estimated.
