With the continuous development of intelligent equipment, the chip positioning accuracy requirements are also constantly improving. In this paper, a mathematical model of the LED chips positioning system based on the characteristics of the system is constructed. And then, an error analysis method based on Monte Carlo is proposed, which is able to obtain the impact factors of various sources of error, such as calibration error, image processing error and motion control error. By analyzing the influence factors of these error sources, we can know that calibration error is the main source of error affecting positioning accuracy.
