The paper deals with the solution of problems to assess the technical condition of thermal mechanical equipment, on the example of boilers by thermography. As a result of the study of the brickwork of the steam hot-water boiler, thermal imaging images were obtained, from which it can be concluded that the brickwork of the boiler does not perform its direct functions, the insulation is outdated. Thus, constant monitoring allows making current repair of machinery, reducing wear and heating loss to maintain efficiency at the project level.
