In the depth control system of clean-up collect mechanical, the influence factors of ultrasonic detection accuracy such as sensor frequency, installation height, marching speed and earth’s surface roughness are analysed by orthogonal experiment through range and variance analysis methods. The results show that installation angle and marching speed are the most important influencing factors, the installation height and surface roughness have no significant effect. In the practical application, the installation angle and marching speed should be considered firstly, the sensor frequency and installation height can be adjusted according to the terrain.
