Preface: The 1st Siliwangi International Conference on Innovation in Research 2018 (SICIR)

We are proud to present to you The 1 st Siliwangi International Conference on Innovation in Research 2018, located in HARRIS Hotel & Conventions, Bandung on 14 August 2018. This conference covers a wide range of innovations in the field of education and renewable engineering. Innovations in the field of education include the problems of teaching and learning as well as the solution. Engineering field includes the discovery and development of renewable technologies. SICIR 2018, organized by Directorate of Research and Community Service (LP2M) of Universitas Siliwangi (UNSIL) and managed by JP Global Transtech. The objectives of this conference are to disseminate the research results of researchers in University and R & D Institutions and to improve collaboration between researchers with community education and engineering. There were 4 plenary speakers, 121 scientific participants from countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, and Japan, contributing to the success of the conference. The articles were considered under 8 categories, Agrotechnology, Education, Energy, Health Care, Health Care Engineering, Instrumentation & control and Information Technology, Materials, and Regional Development.
