Ferroelectric phase comprising BaTiO 3 nanoparticles and nanorods have been prepared by high temperature sintering. The XRD spectra of sintered powder was used to confirm the ferroelectric phase crystallisation. The non-ferroelectric cubic phase to ferroelectric tetragonal phase transition of BaTiO 3 was studied by temperature dependent dielectric study. The Curie temperature of 105 °C in sintered nanoparticles was observed from dielectric study of tetragonal phase BaTiO 3 .
