This paper describes the theoretically engineered electro optic chromophore (bromine based) and various characteristics of the chromophore. The simulation of halogen based (chlorine and bromine) electro optic chromophore is done. This chromophore can be especially used in the prospective applications due to its exceptional properties and conclusion drawn from the theoretically engineered electro optic chromophore. The halogens because of their electronic configuration tend to attain the stability with the other compound due to inductive effect. The halogen based chromophore enables the stable charge transfer due to change in the internal energy level The factors responsible for the enhancement of hyperpolarizability of the simulated chromophores which can lead to further advancement in the laser space communications applications are discussed.
