The modern theory of repairability of machines and mechanisms has received significant development. Today there are already theoretical concepts and prerequisites for creating a scientifically sound system of maintenance and repair of technical products of various branches of technology. From these positions the review of various repair strategy in aspect of their applicability to an atmospheric column of K-2 of installation of primary oil refining of EDP-AVT-6 is interesting.
