Preface

The 2 nd National Conference on Advanced Materials and Applications (NCAMA-2020) has successfully been organized by Department of Physics, National Institute of Technology (NIT), Raipur, India during December 28-29, 2020. NCAMA-2020 continues to be a forum mainly for the Physics, Chemistry, Material Science professional and academic communities engaged in research and development of smart luminescence materials, dielectric materials, photovoltaic cells, nano materials, thermoelectric device engineering, and related areas of engineering. The major goal of NCAMA-2020 was to bring together scientists and practitioners, engineers and industry researchers to share their experience and innovations. The two-day online conference provided a great opportunity to initiate discussions on topical issues of research & development on advanced materials testing and applications, and discussed the challenges encountered and the solutions adopted. Scientists and practitioners, mostly from Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Rajasthan and other nearby states of India submitted over 45 papers. All the papers were reviewed by the editors (Dr. Ayush Khare, Dr. Bijaya Kumar Sahoo and Dr. Sapan Mohan Saini) and invited experts. The most up-to-date and comprehensive manuscripts were selected for this volume. We sincerely hope that the NCAMA-2020 proceedings will show the readers a broad overview of the latest research results from the field of photovoltaic, luminescence, thermoelectrics and nanotechnology.
