The reverse direction on the two-way road will disrupt the rate of vehicles passing through conflict points, on the Perintis Kemerdekaan Road, one of which is used by the people of Makassar City from east to west and vice versa. Median is a traffic lane separator that serves to eliminate traffic conflicts from the opposite direction, so that in turn will increase traffic safety. The openings provided are a turnaround movement. The U-turn movement is far more complicated by turning right or turning left, because the vehicle’s maneuverability is generally limited by the width of the lane, the width of the median and its openings, as well as the traffic flow that is in the direction of direction or the opposite. Certain vehicles that make U-turn movements cannot turn directly causing other vehicles to be disrupted.
