The role of a leader is critical, especially when a person leads a country. Indonesia, as the biggest archipelago country, led by Jokowi since 2014. From his first period in 2014 until his second period started in 2019, many opinions, suggestions, and criticisms addressed to the president, Jokowi. This research aims to measure the performance of Jokowi as Indonesia’s president by collecting public opinions on social media, peculiarly in an interview video published on YouTube. All comments are scrapped and processed using machine learning tools, which are Python and TextBlob. The results of this research are positive and negative sentiments related to Jokowi. From the research conducted, the most influential positive sentiments of Jokowi are his personality. The negative sentiments gained in the video are about the poor quality of translation and the English skill of Jokowi.
