On 11.11.2020 the first online seminar “ SURFACE ENGINEERING FOR BIOMEDICAL APPLICATIONS 2020” – SEBA2020 was held. The complicated world situation forced the first edition of the scientific event to take place in the form of a virtual forum. New materials and techniques for application in biomedicine and the modern engineering technologies were discussed for the first time at the virtual scientific event by scientists from Bulgaria, Belgium, Slovenia, Spain, Portugal and India. Organizers of the scientific seminar SEBA 2020 (Engineering of surfaces for application in biomedicine) were the Institute of Electronics - BAS and the Medical University of Pleven.
