The 4th International Conference on Building Materials and Materials Engineering (ICBMM 2020) was planned to be held in Barcelona, Spain. However, due to COVID-19 pandemic, the conference was held virtually in web streaming on September 24-26, 2020. The whole conference was held on-line in ZOOM with a success. ICBMM 2020 conference was organized by the Chemistry and Materials Society (CMS), a branch of Hong Kong Chemical, Biological & Environmental Engineering Society (HKCBEES). Considering the pandemic situation, the organization opted not to postpone or cancel the conference and has created a virtual environment where the attendees presented the papers and participated in the sessions, and where activities that have been organized online can be accessed.
