The University of Lisbon, in partnership with CBEES, organized the 6th International Conference on Architecture, Materials, and Construction (ICAMC 2020) and 1st International Conference on Building Science, Technology and Sustainability (ICBSTS 2020), from October 27 to 29, 2020, with significant scientific community participation. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, both conferences, scheduled to be held at the University of Lisbon, Portugal, took place on the Zoom platform, guaranteeing all participants' health and safety. The organizers resort to high-speed internet, professional video-recorder, and technical audio support to secure all sessions the best live experience, promoting an interactive and enthusiastic discussion between different background participants during Q&A periods. The Conference complied with the scheduling requirements by presenting 20 specialized reports during three sessions and four plenary speeches. Aside from the selected University of Lisbon’s scientists, the scientific forums gathered worldwide interest, like the U.S., U.K., Greece, Poland, Peru, among others who have contributed significantly to overall success. Plenary speakers had 40 minutes to present, including 5 minutes for the Q&A, and the sessions had 15 minutes for each presentation, including 2 minutes for the Q&A. The University of Lisbon promoted its master students’ attendance and participation, enriching in-house curriculums by enabling interaction with the Conferences' participants. List of Conference Chair, Program Co-Chairs, Publicity Chair and International Technical Committee are available in this pdf.
