This article is devoted to the study of a numerical method of modelling fluid-structure interaction (FSI) problems, namely, optimization of computational resources. We consider a flexible thin-walled structure with clamped behind a fixed rigid non-rotating cylinder installed in a water channel. To solve the problem the “2-way FSI” mode of modelling in software ANSYS was used. The results are presented in tables and graphs in comparison with the data of the experiment and other authors.
