In modern construction, environmental issues are becoming increasingly important, therefore the concept of “green” construction gains growing popularity among both customers and developers. At the same time, information modeling technologies is witnessed to become widespread worldwide. This article reveals the design and construction of modern buildings in accordance with standards of “green” certification based on building information modeling methods. The advantages of building information models, such as rational design decisions, object analysis by various parameters, and quick access to quantitative and qualitative information provides easier certification of “green” buildings, and as a result, the efficient operation of the future object. The purpose of this research is to study the possibility of automated assessment of building information models for compliance with rating systems of “green” construction that can be achieved by analysis «green» construction aspects in the combination with information modeling, approaches to models evaluation within the framework of «green» certification standards and analysis of automated models verification methods. The practical result of the research will be an algorithm for automated evaluation of information models for compliance with” green” standards. Based on the theoretical part of the study, directions for further research in the field of sustainable construction based on BIM will be formulated.
