The article presents the results of physical modelling of the processes of diamond burnishing of machine part surfaces with a complex differentiable profile and the concept of technological stability of treatment processes by methods of surface plastic deformation of surfaces with elastic action tools. The criteria for technological stability of the treatment process under the specified conditions are determined.
