We are pleased to introduce the Proceedings of the V International Scientific Conference “Survivability and Structural Material Science” (SSMS 2020). The Conference was held from October 27th to October 29th, 2020 in an online format. It was organized by Blagonravov Mechanical Engineering Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IMASH RAS). The scientific sections of the Conference covered a wide range of topics on fracture mechanics, structural materials science, survivability, engineering safety and risk analysis, structural integrity, tribology and surface coatings.
