This work is devoted to the application of interdigital transducers for the formation of a standing acoustic wave in the microchannel of an acoustophoretic Lab-chip. 2D and 3D simulation of IDT operation was performed. The influence of IDT shape, its size, and location, geometric dimensions of the piezo-crystalline layer, as well as dimensions and material of the microchannel walls for the effective formation of standing acoustic waves were analyzed.
