In this work, the study of the possibility of environmentally friendly synthesis and the process of phase formation in the aluminum-vanadium-oxygen system was carried out. The materials obtained were characterized using the methods of X-ray phase composition, BET. The fundamental possibility of obtaining mixed vanadium (III-V) oxide is shown. The mechanism of the formation of the material composition in the V-Al-O system in the course of redox reactions is discussed. It is shown that additional heat treatment at a temperature of 1173 K leads to the formation of a composite material V 2 O 5 – Al 2 O 3 . The research results can be useful for the development of a hardware-friendly and economical method for the synthesis of complex oxide compounds.
