The article presents the results of research related to the development and testing of a methodology that allows you to select and rank quality indicators that affect the choice of a potato harvester of an agricultural producer. To rank the selected quality indicators, it has proposed to use the method of comparing pairwise hierarchies. The weighting factors of single quality indicators obtained as a result of ranking can be used to assess the quality level of potato harvesters according to a complex indicator.
