The article investigates the behavior of steel structures of tanks under the thermal impact from fire in the tank farm. Critical fracture temperatures of steel structures are described, the study and analysis of the behavior of steel metal (structure) of the tank under heat exposure and cooling with water. The experiments carried out during cooling will allow to choose the optimal time of exposure and surface-active substances that ensure the improvement of wetting.
