Today, SS-15A separators are used in ginneries to separate the raw cotton from the air. Their main disadvantage is high energy consumption, loss of a certain amount of fiber, negative influence of natural indicators of cotton quality when separating cotton from air. To overcome these disadvantages, a new and improved separator device has been proposed. With this device, fiber loss and fiber damage during separation of the raw cotton from the air can be prevented. To prevent fiber loss, the usable surface area of the device was increased, and a steel guide rod was installed in the working chamber. During the ecology study, it was studied that the proposed new type of separator is more efficient and less harmful to the environment. And also has a positive effect on fiber quality. The placement of the guide steel rods has reduced the airborne dust from the loose fiber waste due to the contact of the cotton with the mesh surface. At the same time, an additional mesh drum was installed in the working chamber to increase the useful surface area of the mesh. This is achieved by maintaining the original quality of the cotton by reducing the air pressure in the working chamber of the separator.
