This article explores the important problem of modernization and improvement in the field of agriculture, which is characteristic of regions, in particular, such a territorial entity of the Russian Federation as the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Justifications and reasons are given that distinguish Yakutia as one of the largest regions of the Far East, where the agricultural sphere is predominant. The relevance of agriculture today is undeniable, since there are many programs, grants and subsidies to support rural entrepreneurship. Research is subject to scientific, technical and innovative products of the agricultural sector, evidence of the causes of technical and technological shortcomings of the industry is given. An analysis of the interdependence of agricultural products and the number of agricultural enterprises of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) is of practical importance. The article concludes with variations of decisions to increase the level of competitiveness of agricultural industries.
