The article discusses the issues of environmental safety of the Bryansk region, pays attention to the position of the Bryansk region in the Central Federal District, the state of the industrial complex of the region, investigates the sources and pollutants of atmospheric air, water resources, considers the problem of solid waste and the impact of transport in the region on the environment, draws conclusions about the state of the environment in the region, measures to improve the ecology are recommended.
