Carrying out hydro/morphological monitoring is one of the most important steps in the preservation of unique water bodies or their restoration, both at the phase of development of the relevant measures and after their implementation. This article describes the experience of using the results of hydro/morphological monitoring for planning measures to preserve the Lake Shartash.
