The increase in interest in visiting specially protected natural territories in the Sverdlovsk Region during the pandemic is accompanied by a decrease in active trips to other destinations, as a result, it provides a significant increase in the anthropogenic load in specially protected natural territories. The increase in the flow of visitors has a negative impact on the nature-saving state of natural systems, which makes it necessary to find ways to reduce the anthropogenic load. The article analyzes the content of the concepts of "recreational development" and "anthropogenic load", considers the most promising types of recreational activity, the directions of anthropogenic influence on natural landscapes, factors of reducing anthropogenic load. Special attention is paid to humanitarian factors and their application in the environmental direction. The author argues that in order to reduce the anthropological burden, it is necessary to combine the efforts of public administration bodies, entrepreneurs and the population of the region. To reduce the anthropogenic load in specially protected natural territories, the directions of administrative regulation, creation of an information space, formation of an environmentally oriented lifestyle and environmental responsibility of the population are proposed.
