The article discusses the issue of development of the electric transport charging infrastructure. Regional peculiarities of this infrastructure are analyzed. Examples of development projects implemented by Russian companies in different regions are provided. The issues of economic justification (payback) of projects are considered. The main problems of charging infrastructure development and ways to solve them are identified
