The article deals with the extraction of minerals in the Tyumen region. The most important and significant minerals for the region are described. The author identifies certain problems that may hinder the development of the industry in the future. To solve these problems, it is proposed to carry out the necessary measures that will allow creating a hightech, competitive, sustainable and balanced use of minerals, which will lead to the effective development of the territory.
